Agreed. Many people want “simple” ways out instead of being responsible to start with. There would be no need for “debt cancellation” if people would make a budget and spend within their means!! Lol!

Deuteronomy 15. “Debt cancellation” is scriptural look it up.

verse 2 says: “every creditor that lendeth …shall release it”…”because it is called the Lord’s release”

    eew! Particularly in this economy.

Folks have to pay to pray nowadays.

  4. Creditgirl2020 on July 18th, 2010 1:06 pm

Not a very fun thing to do, Efferts (working 2 jobs).

I’ll tell anyone, if you don’t have to accumulate debt, then by all means avoid it like the plague! If a person falls way behind, they might find themselves stuck working Retail part time for several months (ARGHHHHH)

    What? Macy’s?

  6. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 2:31 pm

dude, just because they do it on purpose doesn’t mean it’s not a HUGE fuck up. Well, they fucked US up…

  7. tilon2000 on July 18th, 2010 2:34 pm

There is only one debt the Lord Jesus Christ cancels…sin.

  8. dangerouslytalented on July 18th, 2010 3:16 pm

    It was not a fuckup.

    It was in the design.

Monkey with the numbers so you can chalk up the largest possible profit small term.

    Then get your bonus.

Then leave, go to the next bank and do the same there,

Yes, every bank you work for will fail, but you will be long gone before the excrement and propeller meet.

    There is also another method.

Spend less than your disposable income.

I know of 1 VERY well loved source for Debt Cancellation….. ..

Get a 2nd Job at Macys, like I did.

  11. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 4:41 pm

but to sum things up, I agree with you.

  12. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 4:49 pm

indeed. and so is the spiritually religious person. the problem in religion is that form has superseded essence in importance. If one is truthful and honest about spirituality, then although he might not consider himself religious, he in fact adheres to any and all religions. So a christian might not know he’s a christian, while many reckon they are christian, and aren’t. And this is valid for any other religion. In fact I might add that the non-spiritual religious person, isn’t religious at all.

  13. masticina on July 18th, 2010 5:46 pm

    >> non spiritual religious person.

There can be spirituality without religion and such is not terrible.

ALso there can be religion without spirituality and that.. isn’t excellent at all!

  14. masticina on July 18th, 2010 6:16 pm

Not sure if I want to call a more spiritual attuned person that .. well a particular christian to call them christian. But it is certainly sad to see that those who claim to be spiritual.. at times really just aren’t. And that those who don’t claim to be of any religion can be indeed spiritual.

Calling that christian? I dunno but I certainly say that if there is a god and that god wants us to be spiritual. Then that the no religious person who is spiritual is closer then the >>

  15. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 6:48 pm

so basically, bankers fucked up. that’s why it’s really smart to keep injecting money into banks. they’re not gonna keep fucking up for sure… :

  16. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 7:34 pm

well, I don’t know, maybe focusing on the life of the Christ instead of his death, that might be a excellent start.
Yes I know, the Church emphasizes on the death, but one should not just dismiss christianity because of interpretive mistakes of others.
Now, hold on, I don’t own truth. I just feel like religion pertains to essence, but everyone concentrates on the forms it took, and then quarrel about it. It feels like a “Who’s the most mistaken” competition.

  17. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 7:57 pm

but… will they keep on spending? and the Lord will repeatedly forgive the same mistake? will they not feel that they are entitled to keep spending, since the Lord will keep forgiving? isn’t that… completely irresponsible?

  18. bitesh on July 18th, 2010 8:27 pm

no, christians have no issues to solve. if a non christian understands spirituality better than a christian, then he is really christian, and the other isn’t really…

I thought Debt Cancellation was the only way out of the Financial Meltdown on the basis that Americas debt is $64trillion and thats 4 times the Worlds Yucky Product. This means there is not enough profit on current World activity to service such debt so no realistic chance of recovering it. The Debt is mostly Derivatives based. i.e. Bankers multiplied up the value of worthless shares and place some random figure out of thin air. The debt is an illusion to commit US to repay a fake debt as in 1929

Lol. I failed to see it. What was the part that mattered? (I’m just a guy who enjoys reading the comments. Don’t judge me. Lol)

proteanview, this “debt cancellation” appears to be the offspring of the “prosperity doctrine” going around the churches now. It really makes sense too. You will be “blessed” and if you rack up to many debts it’s no worry: God will cancel it for you just as he canceled the debt to sin with the sacrifice on the cross.

    lol

Fantastic topic to discuss & we should cruise the carribbean with Jesus.

    uh,

The “victim” was G-d incarnate. He knew the outcome. He was following His own law. Clever way to outwit the devil.

Re: The blood issue… You can read the Bible as well as I. “Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.” (Genesis)

From Christ’s point of view it may be willingness, but regardless of the victims willingness to die, it’s appeasement of “God” via a murderous act.

The “Lamb of God.” > Instead of a lamb, it’s a man; but the blood-sacrifice principle of vengeful “God” of Judaism is still at the heart of Christianity.
